Alex Troutman is an African American biologist that is breaking down doors in the science field. Alex grew up in Atlanta and from a early age was hypnotized by wildlife. Although it was hard because he didn't see conservationist that looked like him, his love still grew for mother nature. When he started school he actually was studying to be a veterinarian and then a field biology class changed his point of view on a career.
